Interaction Design Association

2016 – 2019

My Role

As the speaker series coordinator, I planned and executed monthly presentations for the local IxDA community. My responsibilities included gauging community interest in particular topics and formats, finding dynamic and knowledgeable speakers, coordinating hosting locations, securing funding, and communicating with all parties to ensure success.

"When Lori was running the IxDA Columbus Chapter, it was the most organized and relevant user group we partnered with. She took the time to truly listen to the audience, take their feedback and bring speakers, topics and events that met what the community was looking for."

"At each IxDA meeting, Lori made a point to welcome new faces and understand what they were trying to get out of the meeting. Her encouragement and suggestions at those meetings helped me land the job I have today."
